Kjersten Dockery is an “almost” native Arizonan and she grew up and now resides with her husband and two children in Mesa, Arizona. She is a Wildcat, receiving her Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctorate from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. She then moved to Seattle, Washington, to attend the University of Washington’s College of Law and there she received her LL.M. in Taxation. She has been a member of the State Bar of Arizona since 2003 and has been practicing estate planning, probate and trust administration, and business planning since 2004.After practicing law for several years, Kjersten realized that many individuals needed an alternative to the typical estate planning law firm. In 2010, she began her own law practice, striving to make estate planning, probate and trust administration, and business planning, as simple, quick, and economical as possible. Generally, Kjersten will meet clients at their home or office, whichever is the most convenient, for their initial meeting, as well as to review and execute their documents. As much as possible, Kjersten will prepare estate plans at a flat fee, which she will discuss at the first meeting. For matters that require hourly billing, her hourly rate is $225 an hour.In her free time, Kjersten is busy serving as a board member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the East Valley and the Mesa Arts Center Foundation. She has two adorable children (biased!) who keep her on her toes, and she enjoys running, Pilates, coaching her children's basketball teams, and spending time with her family.
